Serene and meditative, this large-scale artwork reflects an aesthetic inspired by traditional textures of Japan, including shoji screens and tatami mats.

This one-of-a-kind work has been created using a technique of hand-stitching with wire, created and perfected over many years by artist-sculptor, Anne Baxter.  "Japan Sun Rising" emanates an uplifting sense of balance, and can integrate seamlessly with any interior space.
