A combination of 'East meets West' with ancient  Asian materials and philosophies, Sumi Ink and Chinese Brushes AND modern Acrylic Interference Metallic Paints. The Interference Metallic Paint is visible when light is shining directly on the painting. Without direct light or if the painting is viewed from the side the metallic effect disappears. This effect is found in nature as sunlight produces bright vivid colors and a cloudy shadow over the sun causes less vivid landscape colors.
