Opening into a central “portal of light” of delicate complexity, this work’s inner-region contrasts its sturdy outer-structure; the viewer’s eye is drawn towards this work’s “inner light,” which emanates the brightness of any wall it is placed upon.

Its warm-toned surface extends nearly three inches outwards from the wall, enhancing any interior space, and enabling a diversity of presentation:  Natural lighting works beautifully for subtle display; professional lighting may be used to create a variety of shadow resonances.

This one-of-a-kind work has been created using a technique of hand-stitching with wire, created by artist-sculptor, Anne Baxter. Color is copper-toned metallic with subtle shimmer.
