Description
The model for this sculpture was a regal Bengal that was the dominant office cat at my vet’s office. He definitely ruled the roost, greeting everyone who entered for an obligatory ear scratch and in between such greetings he could usually be found reclining on his favorite chair, looking every bit the ruler of the realm. What drew me to this pose was those elegant long legs, so regally relaxed in the dignified pose that advertised his dominance and control over his surroundings.
